About MATRX Health and Fitness
Where clinical expertise meets compassionate care.
Our Story
Founded in 2017 by Dr. Krystina Miller, PT, DPT, MATRX Health and Fitness was built on a simple but radical idea: recovery shouldn’t stop at “good enough.”
For individuals navigating neurologic injury, complex orthopedic conditions, or disability, traditional rehabilitation often does exactly what it’s designed to do — restore safety, build independence, measure clinical progress. But progress can plateau. Therapy can become routine. And somewhere in that routine, people lose connection to their why.
MATRX was built to keep that connection alive.
Whole-Person Care. Not Just Clinical Goals.
Our practice centers on highly specialized, one-on-one neurologic and orthopedic care that treats the whole person — not just the diagnosis. Movement matters. Strength is measurable. But confidence, autonomy, identity, and community participation are equally essential to a full life.
We believe recovery should not simply restore baseline function. It should expand possibility.
That belief shaped our systems-driven medical wellness model — where rehabilitation, adaptive fitness, and long-term participation work seamlessly together. Therapy isn’t a phase you complete. Recovery is an ongoing process that adapts, progresses, and continues to challenge you in ways that are meaningful to you.
Why We Exist
Some people lose access to care because insurance runs out. Others stay in therapy but feel stuck — making clinical gains without knowing how to translate them into real-life change.
Our role isn’t to replace existing systems. It’s to extend them.
We help individuals reconnect with personally meaningful goals, translate strength into real-world participation, and build the capacity for lifelong movement and recreation.
“Rediscover Possible” isn’t about chasing unrealistic outcomes. It’s about helping each person define what progress means to them — and building the systems, support, and accountability to pursue it.
